While some are routine aimed at exhaustive extraction of bitumen from source or reservoir rocks, others are customized cleaning processes for removing oil or synthetic-based muds from cuttings and cores. The Extraction Lab is responsible for the isolation of bitumens from a variety of rock samples using soxhlet extractors. |
